2) Apply your products and style your hair upside down. Even spend some time diffusing upside down.
3) Stay FAR away from products that could cause moisture overload, weighing your hair down.

2) Invest in a gel that has great hold and add it to your styling regime.
3) Spend extra time styling your hair with the right techniques to help deepen the “S” formation of your loose curls/waves i.e. scrunching.

A:1) Be sure to ditch all products with silicones and heavy oils (that will also contribute to flat hair!)
2) Clarify the buildup on your hair at least once a month
3) Apply products to your hair when it’s wet, NOT damp. The more water in your hair, the better your clumps or curl groupings will be.
4) Avoid diffusing your hair on a high speed, it will break up your clumps/curl groupings. Instead, opt for a lower setting with a medium heat and alternate to a cooler temperature.
5) Make sure you aren’t using too many products that contain protein. Protein overload can cause stringiness and brittle hair. Switch up your products and only do a protein treatment twice a month.
