I created some uneven layers in her hair. This allowed for more bounce in her hair and better face framing. Her curls sprang to life. Since Lowella’s hair was already in good condition, it only needed a little extra hold to secure a good curl formation. I applied a small amount of Curl Keeper™ with a generous helping of Gel. I then squished her wet hair until her natural curls appeared. A little diffused air was used to speed up the drying time and add a little extra bounce.

Liza has a loose wave that tends to get frizzy easily. Her hair was quite dry and will need several applications of Pure Silk Protein in order to maintain her bright rich colours. Adding moisture to her hair will prolong the effects of colouring. Lots of Curl Keeper® mixed with Gel was added to her hair and then it was left to air dry. In the final stages of drying, a diffuser was used to speed up the process.

Sherret has extremely thick bulky hair around the crown area. She has great curls when her hair was wet. Sherret needed a few Tunnels cut in the bulkiest section of her hair in order to reduce the overall bulk. As her hair was extremely dry, I treated her hair with Silk Shampoo and Pure Silk Protein in order to soften and moisturize her hair. Lots of Curl Keeper™ and Silk Leave-in Conditioner was used to control the frizz. With a bone comb I used my Skip Curl technique to create perfect ringlets.

Zoe

To prepare Zoë’s hair for straightening we needed to do some conditioning first. We used Pure Silk Protein (Conditioner would have worked equally as well) to add moisture to the hair prior to drying. ReMane Straight™ was added to her hair while it was still damp. Taking the hair section by section, using a steel and nylon round brush, we dried her hair straight starting at the roots using high heat on the hairdryer. A great tip to remember is to not use too much tension, so that the hair will have more body and no frizz!
